Does Practice Make Perfect?

Practice makes perfect?

Practice makes perfect as long as the right practice methods are being used. A common mistake students make is studying for many hours without studying effectively. When studying effectively, students may only need 1-2 hours max.

Ella is one of our students and here is a picture of her most recent test result in Grade 10 linear systems. With only 2 days to understand the material before the test date, we used our approach to give Ella the confidence she needed.

Our approach is simple. Assessing, planning, practicing and applying. Through these steps Ella was able to fully understand the difficult word problems which lead to a perfect score on her math test.

Well Done Ella.
