We are Celebrating our 4th year with
"Strive for the Drive"

November 2nd will be our 4th year of providing quality tutoring service in the Durham Region. To celebrate we have partnered with the Salvation Army so that we can provide canned foods to the need in the Durham Region.

Does Practice Make Perfect?

Practice makes perfect?

Practice makes perfect as long as the right practice methods are being used. A common mistake students make is studying for many hours without studying effectively. When studying effectively, students may only need 1-2 hours max.

Ella is one of our students and here is a picture of her most recent test result in Grade 10 linear systems. With only 2 days to understand the material before the test date, we used our approach to give Ella the confidence she needed.

Our approach is simple. Assessing, planning, practicing and applying. Through these steps Ella was able to fully understand the difficult word problems which lead to a perfect score on her math test.

Well Done Ella.

Our UOIT Partnership

We are proud to announce our partnership with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT).

Its great to work with students, and we have been recognized in the University community for it. We will be tutoring students on the North and South campus in the Sciences and Math majors. On Campus tutoring started on October 1st 2015. Since then we have assisted 10 students.

Our objective is to bring quality tutoring to the upper year university students. Senior students usually have the hardest time finding a tutor for their 3rd and 4th year courses. We will also be tutoring 1st and 2nd year students through our student help program. We will continue to expand into the Social Sciences and Information Technology majors.

Next, we are planning to expand to youth soccer teams throughout the GTA. Our objective is to help young soccer players attain the grades they need to play post-secondary soccer in Canada and the US.
